After Monday’s adventure, I found my pastor’s blog post on parenting very refreshing (and hilarious). I have actually been scolded by strangers for letting my kids eat Cocoa Puffs for breakfast and coloring ‘Mermaid Land’ in church. It’s nice to know that KDY has my back and reassures me that those things don’t really correlate to a drug addicted, sociopathic teenager. When it comes to parenting, some trust in nutrition, some trust in schools, some trust in their own methods, but at the Spencers, by the Lord’s grace, we will trust in the name of the Lord our God.
